What to wear for your couple’s photo shoot
Wear comfortable clothes, and try to coordinate without exactly matching. Think about how you want to feel during the session and try out your outfit a few weeks before the shoot.
Neutral colours and whites always look great on the Whitsundays background.
Wear comfortable shoes, but avoid wearing hats that cover your face.
If you’re planning to do some action shots, don’t wear tight clothes.

Boathaven Beach at Airlie Beach is Airlie Beaches’ best beach and is the perfect spot for a romantic photo shoot.
Located at the southern tip of Airlie Beach, this location offers stunning scenery and a beautiful beach.
It’s the perfect spot for an afternoon picnic and a couple of portrait sessions.
Bushland Photography
Not far from Airlie Beach is Cedar Creek Falls, which is usually nice and quiet and has the falls and bushland backdrops for something a little different and is also a great place for a picnic.
This bushland photo shoot is also great if you’re looking for a little more privacy whilst escaping the heat of the day.
Sunset Photography
Most of Airlie Beach is located right on the shoreline, so there are lots of great sunset spots.
My favourite locations for a sunset photo shoot are the Turtle Boardwalk, Shingly Beach, Bicentennial Park, Canonvale Beach, Boathaven Beach and Beacon Park.
Tropical Garden Photography
Airlie Beach has some stunning and secluded tropical gardens that make for the ideal location if you are planning a couple’s photo session.
A tropical garden photo shoot is also great if you’re looking for a little more privacy whilst escaping the heat of the day.
